Program from Archives of Michigan to focus on genealogy resources available.
The Lenawee County Historical Society is hosting a program, "Seeking Michigan," by Jessica Harden, archivist with the Archives of Michigan, about genealogy resources. The program will be held at the Lenawee County Historical Museum, 110 E. Church St, Adrian, Saturday, February 11 at 2:00 PM and there is no cost to attend.
The program will help audience members become more familiar with several types of records available at Seeking Michigan, and may introduce even seasoned researchers to some new leads. Harden will explain how to search for Michigan death records, Michigan census records, and Civil War service records. The talk will also include an overview of Archives of Michigan subject guides and indexes available at Seeking Michigan.
